Mission Possible, With Your Help

The Niagara Peninsula Children’s Centre has a mission...to provide child and family centred programs and services to children and adolescents who require physiotherapy, occupational therapy or speech-language pathology. The Centre’s primary purpose is to support the development of children and adolescents as individuals, as family members and as members of the community.

Because of the overwhelming need to provide facilities, programs and services required by these special children, the Centre has grown tremendously since its beginnings in the early 1950’s. Today over 2900 children each year, from all 12 municipalities in Regional Niagara, receive therapy and other services for a large variety of physical or communicative disabilities.

The list of children who require treatment by Centre therapists is increasing at a rapid rate, resulting in a waiting period for children who should be receiving treatment immediately. Waiting is an agonizing experience for the parents and children, but with your assistance we can decrease or eliminate the waiting period and commence the required therapy.

Below are some way that you can help. A child’s future could depend on you.
