At their November 23, 2009 monthly meeting, members of the Niagara Concierge Association from many of the Niagara Region’s finest hotels, continued their support of local charities with a $1,000 cheque to the Niagara Peninsula Children’s Centre and a cash donation of $480 to Project Share in support in families at Christmas.  The funds were raised through various means including an annual golf tournament and personal donations from the members.

In addition to the financial support to Project Share, members also donated a large variety of food products for the needy families.

The presentations were made at the Fallsview Hilton Hotel by Korey, Rorison, Les Clefs D’Or (Gold Keys) Regional Director, Niagara, who is Chef Concierge at the Prince of Whales Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Project Share Resource Development and Communications Coordinator Jeff Guarasci accepted the donation on behalf of Project Share while NPCC Foundation Executive Director Jim Marino represented the more than 3,000 children with physical and communicative disabilities who received treatment from Centre therapists.

The Niagara Concierge Association are members of the Les Clefs D’Or (Gold Keys) a national association of professional Hotel Concierge and professional and corporate affiliates whose motto is "In service through freindship".

The Niagara area members meet on a regular basis to share ideas and their knowledge in order to exceed guest expectations.

The prestigious association is built purely on friendship and professional ethics where no competition exists, and members across the country come from the nation’s finest hotels in major cities and resort areas.

As the November 23 Niagara meeting, Korey Rorison also presented member Alyson Wills with her gold key in recognition of training accomplishments in order to meet mandatory requirements of becoming a member of Les Clefs D’Or.
