Charitable Proceeds Will Benefit Niagara Peninula Children’s Centre At Opening of St. Catharines New Sobey’s Store.

Customers attending the Grand Opening of the new St. Catharines Sobey’s Store at 343 Glendale Avenue on Wednesday July 29 can take advantage of big savings and support Niagara’s children with special needs at the same time.

For a nomincal donation of $2.00 in support of the Niagar Peninsula Children’s Centre, both all day on opening day starting at 9:00 am and again on Saturday August 1 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, customers are invited to spin the Sobey’s Prize Wheel and everyone who spins will win a prize.

A large variety of fabulous prizes have been donated by a number of Sobey’s suppliers, and the public is also invited to enter to win $1,000 in Sobey’s gift cards.

Several other added attractions will be featured on Sobey’s opening day in keeping with their slogan, "Ready to Serve Your Community".

Adults are invited to bring along the children to meet Sponge Bob Squarepants at the Kidzone and also test their soccer skills at the Nestle Milo Kickzone.  Take along your cameras for some fun photo opportunities.

The Niagara Peninsula Children’s Centre provides therapy for more than 3,000 children with physical and communicative disabilities from all 12 municipalities in Regional Niagara.
